The Way Of The Dog ("inu-no-michi" in Japanese) is a site devoted to
the idea that training a dog in tracking can and should be an enjoyable
experience, for both you and your dog!

Dogs naturally love to explore their environment with their noses. We
use positive reinforcement to teach the dog to follow a track and locate
scented articles. We use the H.I.T.T. Method (Hydration Intensified
Tracking Training) pioneered by Steve White. This involves spraying
distilled water on the track to enhance the surface's retention of scent.
With the proper training, both you and your dog will love this new
activity!
